Located on the edge of the town, Ivy's Tavern was one of the nicer establishments in the area yet always had the least customers. From the outside it looked like any other tavern with its stone walls and pane glass windows. It is the inside that separates it from others. Several wooden tables lined the walls and formed rows in the middle of the large room. The reason it was always so dimly lit was because there were only a few lights. Candles on each table ave light to the individuals while only a half dozen lights were scattered along the walls. For the most part it was the grand fireplace to the right of the bar that provided the room its light.
Across from the door was the bar, which ran the length of nearly the entire wall and only left room for the stairs to the left that led up to the rooms. It was obvious that those who worked here did their best to keep things clean. Somehow the room was perfect for the dim light and produced a calming aura within its walls.
Tonight the tavern was busier than usual and the staff did their best to keep the room well lit while attending to the customers. Probably the busiest one in the room was the man standing behind the bar, wearing a black cloak over a dark green tunic, blond hair almost completely covering crystal blue eyes as he hustled back and forth preparing drinks.

Elannryia sighed heavily as she entered the tavern alone, her wolf Sphynx at her side, obviously tired. Her ice grey eyes searched the tavern, and fixed upon the man behind the bar. She sighed lightly, then looked at Sphynx, who walked to a lone corner and curled up in it, Elan sighed, her black hair sweeping across her eyes. Her long black cloak hid her typical ensemble, and her skin was a slight bit paler than normal. She hissed in an undertone as people in the tavern started talking about her, and she walked to the bench by which Sphynx had curled up by, and sat at a table, her face in her hands.

As busy as he was, the bartender took notice of the girls entrance and of the whispers that began to spread about her. Sighing, he calls one of the waitresses to him. He quickly whispered a few words to her and handed her a mug. The waitress then brought the mug over to Elannryia's table and sets it before her. "A mug o hot cider, compliments of Dar." The girl said with a smile. "Would ya like anything else?"

Elannryia started a little, and looked up. She flashed a dazzling smile at the waitress. "No thank you, and please give him my thanks" Her eyes were still dulled from sadness, but her bright and extremely dazzling smile hid the pain behind her eyes. Her black hair fell into her eyes still, and she tried her best not to snap at the people whispering about her. She hated it. Wherever she went, all she heard was "Failure" or "Vampira" or "thats her...the one with the task....the one that will ruin Acroshtka." She hated it all, and she tried to block the whispers out. She nodded at the girl, looking at the mug before bringing it close to her and biting her lip a little. She sighed, then took a drink of the cider, setting the mug down after a moment, and motioned for Sphynx, setting something on the wolf's collar, sending her to Dar.

The orders had slowed down for a moment, long enough to let the barkeep sit down. Looks around the crowded room with a smile on his lips. Then he saw the wolf approach with something on its collar. When it stopped near him and watched him with its large eyes, he finally reached out and took the object on its collar.

Sphynx sat perfectly still as Dar retrieved the object, then trotted back to Elannryia, earning a quick pet before being sent back to the corner. Elan sighed, resting her head in her hands, thinking. "I'll never be able to cope with the whispers..." she said softly, then looked over at Dar. The object he had retrieved was a gold coin, and a note was attatched. She smiled faintly, and looked back at Sphynx. Elannryia's eyes brightened a little bit, and she looked over at some of the people, who were shooting her deathly glares. She narrowed her eyes at them, causing them to turn quickly around.
She sighed, and took another drink of the cider, her hands cupping the mug delicately. Normally, she didn't drink anything, but this time...she didn't want to be called a bloodsucker.

He takes the coin and placing it in a drawer. Laughing to himself and shaking his head. Waving his hand to someone across the room, he removes steps out from behind the bar. Waiting a few moments until the other person could take up their place behind the bar, he then heads over to Elannryia's table and sits across from her. Holding the note out infront of him.
"Dark eve M'lady. What can I do ye for?"

Elannryia looked up and smiled. "I wanted to thank you personally for the cider. It certainly helped my mood." She said smiled, and motioned to the note he was holding. "Have you read it yet?" she asked carefully. Her smile was perfect, and she flashed a set of pearly white fangs as well. She sighed, and brushed her long black hair from her pale face, exposing her shockingly ice grey eyes

"Ah, twas nothing. If I didn't own the place it could'a been trouble." The barkeep laughs again to himself. He opens the note and holds it up to read.

Dar, You may have heard of me, may have not. My name is Elannryia Krishtine Dueval. I am the only Vampira left in existence, and I am currently having to complete my father's legendary task of uniting all races together, not just with the Vampira. Seeing as how many races travel to this tavern, I am certain, I was curious as to know if maybe you could pass word along that in three months there will be a gathering of leaders of all races. I will be there, in the center of the Plains Of Torenda. Please meet me there as well. Also, seeing as how I have travelled far, I may as well be so bold as to request a room for a while.
Also, I mean no harm, so the whispers you hear of me wanting to ruin Acroshtka are ridiculous. I have no such intentions. Thank you Dar. You are the first person to not go by the whispers. Maybe we will become good friends, no?
Gratias ago vos iterum , quod ego vultus porro ut decens a propinquus amicus de vestri
Signed, Elannryia Dueval Elannryia watched as he read the note, and smiled faintly, looking out the windows of the tavern

He re-reads the note to make sure he didn't miss anything. Folding up the paper he tucks it into a pocket. Folding his hands under his chin he studies her. His eyes looking her over. A smirk spread across his lips and then he laughed.
"Well Elannryia, I shall have a room prepared for you shortly. As for spreading the "word", I could do that. However you came on quite an unusual night. Its not often we have so many customers and I fear your "word" may not go far." His eyes closed then opened again and there was a sparkle in them. "I care little for what rumors there are about you. I for one have missed the presence of the Vampira's." His eyes darkened and saddened as he thought of the wife he had lost so so long ago.

Elannryia smiled lightly. "I'm glad someone does not shudder in our midst." she replied carefully. "Most people throw me looks, and pull out their weapons. I have been struck a few times, but I tend not to mind. My focus is on my goal." and on love.... she blatantly added in her mind. She sighed lightly, and looked out the windows again at the dark night sky. "Its beautiful out here....why many people would not stop here is beyond me..." she said softly, sadly. She smiled lightly before turning back to him.
"Hopefully we can become good friends, no?" she said gently

Grinning, he shows a flash of fangs. "I may not be Vampira, but I am not readily welcomed. I am only half Alfar and then half Deamon." His chest puffs out with pride at his words. "Furthermore, I was once married to a Vampira named Raven." There were many in the room that had heard his words and stared at him with hatred. He took one look around the room, his eyes flashing with the lightning within him, and everyone turned looked away.
"I have worked hard to forge myself a place in this world and have been struck down several times. Those who would dare try to strike me or burden my lifes journey have been tossed aside for the insignificant insects they are."

"Ahhh, Raven...I remember her well....what a shame her death was..." Elannryia said quietly. "Such a talented and spirited person she was...." Elannryia said softly, looking at him. "I heard you went looking for her for a while. I'm sorry to hear of it..." She nodded in sadness to him, before looking out at the night again. "I agree with your way of handling those who become burden's to your life and tasks. Its much the way I was brought up by my parents." She smiled faintly. "As for your half-blood, I quite enjoy the company of the Alfar, and Daemons are accquaintances of mine, so I am honoured to be in the presence of a half-blooded one." She smiled lightly at him, her eyes sparkling with the candlelight. She did not look directly at the light, for she despised it.
"Have any questions for me?" she asked gently
