Her last question got his mind off of the stars outside as he turned to look at her, looking slightly confused. "I thoug't I had already told ye that the tribes d'nt have one leader. we are divided 'n' 'aven't had a leader in centuries." If she looked in his eyes she would have seen a sadness that rarely appeared. "Best ta forget that part fer now."
Leaning over in his chair he grabs a large bag from under the table. Pulling it out as he rose to his feet, he slung the bag over his shoulder. "I would sugg'st putting off visitin the Volvedir fer the time bein as well."

"I have to. I have no choice." she replied, snapping her fingers at Sphynx, who rose at once and trotted to her master's side. Her eyes were darkened with worry as she exited the tavern, sighing lightly, "I have to do this. It's my only hope of survival in this realm..." she said softly, walking up to a hill on the outskirts of the town. She sat there, and pulled off her cloak. Her figure was better than any human females, and she lay back in the grass, her eyes closed. She could not sleep. It was something she'd had to live with, She lay there, and thought about everything. Her task, her past, her race's wipeout. It all crossed her mind, and she recited the Latianne phrase on her shoulder softly as she thought

He had followed her from the tavern. As they moved through the town he noticed many people giving the girl looks of hatred. Many of them moved their hands to their weapons. As soon as they noticed Kurron with her however, they all turned and continued with their business. He remained silent until they stopped and she laid upon the grass. His eyes took in her beauty.
"Be that as it may, I object ta goin' ta t'e Volvedir lands. At least 'till there be more of us ta protect ye."

She started a little, sitting up, and gazing at Kurron. "Where should I travel to next?" She asked lightly, sighing softly. She brushed her hair from her eyes, and looked down at the town. "I noticed the looks that I got from most of the people in town. I'm used to it. It doesn't bother me anymore." She gave a half-hearted smile, and propped herself up on her elbows. "This task is more complicated than I thought...." she said quietly, looking up at the sky, where she knew the gods and godesses were just waiting to see her fail. "I won't fail. I won't meet the same fate as those before me. I refuse to meet that fate."

He lets out of low sigh. "I can't tell ye where ta go. If ye wish ta go ta see the Volvedir then go." Brings his hand up and rubs the back of his neck. "I be here ta protect ya 'nd I shall do just that."

"How about to the Faerie's glades?" She said gently. Her eyes moved over to the area where the glades were located. "Or we could go to the Anu'estine..." she said carefully choosing her words. Her hair blew around her pale face, and she whispered something in Latianne before rising and dusting her clothes off. She straightened and looked at Kurron. "Or you can pick a place and I can follow."

Gazing off into the distance, lost in thought. He had heard what she said but did not acknowledge her words. Then his eyes closed and slowly opened. "We c'uld travel ta the lands of the Cagonesti, s'nce we w'uld have ta pass it anyhow." He turns back to face her.

Elannryia nodded. "Very well." she said softly, grabbing her things and whistling to Sphynx, who appeared immediately at her side. Elan's eyes were locked on Kurron
